With the gun pointed at me, a million thoughts run through my mind. The blur of images assaulting my brain is almost too overwhelming. Time slows to a crawl, and everything my eyes see suddenly comes into crystal clarity. A crack on the wall suddenly becomes a fissure, a speck of a dust a boulder.
